1957 Chevrolet Nomad. 283 power pac 4bbl V-8, Powerglide automatic, Power Steering and upgraded power disk brakes. A very original, straight, solid car that runs and drives excellent. I bought it from a gentleman in Pennsylvania and drove it 1657 miles home. It has a new set of Coker wide whitewall radials, new brakes, dual exhaust, All of the trim is nice, I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. The Nomad was the top of the line most expensive and lowest production model Chevrolet made in 1957. They only made 6,103 Nomads, while they built 47,562 Convertibles and 166,426 2 door hardtops. If it sticks around very long, it will likely be getting a/c, some mag wheels, and the price will go up. I really, really want to put a 4 speed in it, but will resist that temptation as long as possible .................. Everytime I drive a 57 Chevrolet, I automatically reach for a shifter and go to step on the clutch............... SOLD Too late this beauty is off to Florida and it will be missed..............................
